Professional cable tracing and diagnostic kit designed for tracing cable routes, identifying a specific wire within a bundle, checking circuit continuity, and diagnosing telephone lines.
The kit consists of a Tone Generator and an Amplifier Probe. The Tone Generator sends a tone signal through the selected wire, while the Amplifier Probe detects the signal to locate the target cable or trace its route.
The device supports cable testing over distances of up to 1.5 km.
It supports TONE and CONT operating modes, while the two-note tone helps distinguish the target cable from adjacent cables.
The Amplifier Probe detects the transmitted signal without direct contact with the conductor.
The device can be used to check telecommunication lines with active DC voltage up to 48 V.

Functions:
The device allows cable routes to be traced and individual wires to be identified within cable bundles. The Tone Generator applies a tone signal to the selected wire, while the Amplifier Probe detects the signal along the cable route or within the bundle.
CONT mode is used for wire and circuit continuity testing. It can help identify open circuits, short circuits, and incorrect connections.
TONE mode is used to apply a tone signal to the cable for tracing and identification. The Amplifier Probe detects the signal without direct contact with the conductor, allowing the target cable to be located without physically disconnecting it.
The device can also be used for analog telephone line diagnostics. It can identify line status, including idle, ringing, and busy conditions, as well as check line polarity and determine the positive and negative conductors.
